Serre Chevalier Valley is a major ski resort in the Hautes-Alpes department on the edge of the Ecrins National Park, extending from Briançon to Monêtier-les-Bains where several villages and hamlets are scattered. Close to the French-Italian border, it offers access to many winter and summer activities.
With 250 km of slopes, 410 hectares of marked ski slopes, Serre Chevalier is the largest ski area in the Southern Alps and one of the largest in Europe.
It offers many other activities in addition to skiing: giant zip line, mountain karting, Mega-Luge, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing.
